The Designs
Attica Gardens Scarves
The Attica Gardens scarves are inspired by the traditional bridal garment of Attica in Greece. The original motifs found on the garment symbolize new beginnings, fertility and abundance.
Reimagined with a modern aesthetic and vibrant colors, this design honors cultural heritage and carries a wish for a prosperous future. The floral motifs of the piece were hand painted with watercolor giving the design depth and beautiful variations in its hues.
The design is available in two colorways, the pink and the teal.
Cretan Mermaid Scarves
The Cretan Mermaid scarves were inspired by the rich collection of Cretan embroidery from the archives of the MET museum in New York. Home to the oldest dated piece of Greek folk embroidery.
The design draws inspiration from the bold, playful motifs of traditional Cretan embroidery, featuring symbols like the mermaid, carnation and flower vase.
This vibrant design is both a contemporary homage and a joyful celebration of the bold, playful embroidery traditions of Crete.
The design is available in two colorways, blue and pink.
Mesogeia Blooms Scarves
The Mesogeia Blooms scarves were inspired by the bridal garment of Attica in Greece. More specifically the garment’s sleeve is decorated with a repeating pattern of vases from which bloom beautiful floral motifs. These symbolised prosperity and fertility.
The scarves design reinterprets those original motifs using an array of vivid colors and a dynamic composition as a way to celebrate their beauty with a modern twist.
The design is available in two colorways, cream and red.
